Does directv run on the same lines as comcast?

I just turned off my comcast services and am going to have dsl and directv. My question is does the dish run off the same cables as comcast did. I have 3 separate ones running from one cereal point of the house going to the living room and to the 2 bedrooms. I have what seems to be a space for an input cable in my room but there also seems to be some type of splitter in my hallways. Just wondering if any additional installation will be needed.
